Headquartered in Ontario, California, Image Dynamics was founded in 1993 by auto sound enthusiasts. Image Dynamics has built its reputation as an innovative and affordable speaker manufacturer. Getting their start in 1993 they innovated the use of Horn Loaded Compression Drivers (HLCD) for both competition and everyday use by making them both affordable and easy to use. The innovation continued in 1994 by offering mid-bass drivers and subwoofers that matched the uncompromising performance of their Horn Loaded Compression Drivers. In 1996 Image Dynamics pioneered the concept of interchangeable component sets with our Chameleon separates that easily convert from conventional separates to point source coaxial mounting.
